World Forum for Democracy 2019

Strasbourg, 6-8 November 2019

The World Forum for Democracy launched in 2012 and hosted by the Council of Europe brings together members of civil society, political leaders, academic, media and professional groups to debate about the different challenges which democracies are facing today and foster democratic innovation.

Is Democracy in danger in the information age?” was the core question for the WFD 2019.  Plenary sessions, labs and forum talks were organized for three days in a very multicultural and creative atmosphere.

The project coordinator and a project partner (EPAL Korydallou) were invited to take part as discussants in the Lab4 – Building resilience to disinformation in order to share their experience of the implementation of Digital Resistance project with two other democratic initiatives presented during the Lab and try to bring broader perspectives to the discussion.
